WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE SESSION:
Ear Acupuncture is received on a massage table or massage chair. After an initial consultation, I will make a diagnosis and tailor the session to address your emotional and physical symptoms.
Once the needles are in place, I will leave you to relax and let the magic of the needles take effect!

Ear Acupuncture is a micro-system of body acupuncture, where like reflexology; the whole body can be mapped in the ear. Small needles are inserted and work to balance your mind and body. It is highly effective in stimulating the vagal part of the nervous system, working particularly well for stress and anxiety.

In some instances, it is beneficial to combine both treatments - especially for treating chronic emotional or physical conditions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Contraindications:
Shiatsu and Ear Acupuncture are safe and supportive therapies; however there are some acupressure points that are to be avoided while pregnant or if you have high/low blood pressure. This information is picked up during the initial consultation.
Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel an appointment, please let me know as soon as you can. I will charge 50% of the original amount if the session is cancelled within 24 hours of the time of the session. If the cancelled session is rearranged, there will be no charge.
Covid Safety Measures:
According to the Covid-19 safety guidelines, I will thoroughly sanitise the massage table and room before each treatment. Upon arrival, I will do a temperature check, and ask you to complete a Covid Track and Trace form. I will ask you to sanitise your hands and to wear a mask. I will also wear a mask throughout the treatment.
